Climate change and environmental breakdown are serious and urgent global issues, which present significant risks to health.
There is growing recognition of the risk that climate change poses to health, globally and in the UK. As a big consumer of resources and contributor to climate change and environmental breakdown, there is also recognition that the health and care system has an important role to play in the efforts to achieving the UK’s net zero target.
