Hannah joined the Health Foundation in June 2019 as Principal Data Analyst.
Hannah is developing a programme of work that aims to use data analytics to understand quality of care within clinical pathways and produce insights to improve care and inform policy making.
Hannah’s background is in health services research and epidemiology. Her main research interests are performance measurement; large-scale programme and service evaluations; and the use of linked administrative and clinical databases to assess patterns and determinants of care. Most of her academic work to date has been focussed on women and children’s health, in both low- and high-income settings. Most recently, she led the National Maternity and Perinatal Audit to evaluate maternity services across England, Wales and Scotland.
Following a degree in human sciences and MSc in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Oxford, Hannah completed a PhD in health services research at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
