A prosperous, flourishing society depends on having a healthy population.

And businesses depend on healthy people, including employees, customers and suppliers, for their long-term success.

We have worked with Blueprint for Better Business to highlight some of the ways that any business can be a force for good by having a positive impact on the health of society. The guide draws from our infographic series exploring the social determinants of health – the political, social, economic, environmental and cultural factors which shape the conditions in which we live.

The guide has been written for business leaders, and in particular leads for sustainability, wellbeing, procurement and HR. By putting health in the picture, we hope the guide prompts discussion and action around creating better businesses and a better society.
