Creating innovations in data analytics We are innovators in the field of data analytics. Our work helps decision makers tackle the big challenges facing health and health care in the UK.

The team of data analysts at the Health Foundation use linked data and the latest methods in data analytics to tackle the big challenges facing the health of people in the UK.

Our products, tools and reports help decision makers understand what are the major challenges and emerging priorities for health that need to be addressed, and what the solutions might be. Our work examines various aspects of health, health care, and social care; from understanding impact of data driven technologies on health, to using data to improve care for those living with multiple conditions or those living in deprived areas. We are also developing applications of new methods in data science and data linkage, often through our collaborations with leading researchers. We also work closely with our Improvement Analytics Unit and colleagues examining health care policy.

We develop how we do analytics too: from collaborating with clinicians, patients and the public, to working openly and sharing our code on GitHub so that others can benefit from the tools and assets we develop.

We also design and create new data initiatives, such as the Networked Data Lab, to ensure that the UK has the data assets it needs to improve health.
